Established in 1953 in Rome, GA,
Williams and Sweitzer began offering
engineering and surveying services in
Rome, Georgia under the leadership of
its founders, Paul C. Williams, PE, RLS
and Fred W. Sweitzer, Jr., RLS. In 1962
the engineering/surveying firm was
renamed Williams, Sweitzer & Barnum,
after Herbert M. Barnum, PE joined the
firm.
Williams and Sweitzer began offering

Williams, Sweitzer & Barnum, Inc. was formed over 50 years ago, and has
grown steadily under very capable, experienced leadership. Today the
company maintains a staff of 16 employees, and provides a wide range of
services to the Northwest Georgia area. The firm is headed by its President,
Robert L. Moss, PE, RLS and Vice President, John E. Schrock, PE. By
combining creativity with reasoning and practicality, our dedicated staff
provides a highly professional approach to the responsible management of
your project. Our services are governed solely by the needs and desires of
our clients. Our engineers are registered in the States of Georgia, Alabama,
Florida, North Carolina, Tennessee, South Carolina, Kentucky and California.
